Welcome
David's Mighty Men (DMMen) is a program designed to challenge and equip the men of Loudonville Community Church to become fully devoted followers of Christ and to become spiritual leaders in their homes, church, community, and world. All the men of the church are welcome to participate, but those who do will be expected to commit themselves to certain spiritual disciplines such as daily quiet time, reading, and participation in small groups.
David's Might Men meetings start with breakfast at 8:00 AM on designated Saturdays, and include a time of worship and teaching by. Pastor Stan Key. Meetings adjourn at 10:30 AM. All men are invited to join in the Prayer Garden for a "Season of Prayer" from 7:00 to 7:45 AM before each Saturday monthly meeting.
Camp Cedarbrook is seeking to redo some roofs at their facility, according to the following message from Mark Lansing. They are shingle roofs, presently, that they are seeking to replace. According to Dianne Liddy, Camp Director, the work weekends are:
- May 21-23
- Memorial Weekend, May 28-31
- June 11-13 (also Common Ground work day at the camp)
Dianne and NayI will be up at camp permanently after Memorial Weekend. We know for sure the west end of the health hut and the washhouse need shingles. They are small jobs and can be finished in a day. Any of the work weekends would work for doing this.
Your group can decide when…it also can be another weekend earlier. I can make arrangements for that. Let me know. We are trying to decide if we are going to do steel roofs on the rest of the buildings. Currently we are doing research to find out if this works for us or not. Discussion will be on the agenda this weekend. As you see from this message from Dianne, your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
For those who do not know about Camp Cedarbrook, it is a Christian summer camp for girls only in the mountains outside of Glens Falls. I will give my personal experience which is that both of my daughters loved their time there and learned much about the Lord and outdoorsman ship. If you are interested, please reply to MLansing@hiscockbarclay.com with your name, contact information and possible weekend of availability.

The Conference is held at LCC on Saturday, April 10th from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Dr. Richard Swenson and Ronald Warren will be our plenary speakers. The cost is $39.00 and an additional $8.00 if you would like to include lunch.

Important Note: Entrance to this years ISI conference will be done with colored wristbands instead of picking up name tags as in the past. In order to distribute the wrist bands we will have a table in the Commons, for both services, on Easter Sunday. Please stop by the table and pick up your wristband. Thank you for your cooperation.
